Meet Dr. Vanja Cosic

A Rockford native, Dr. Vanja Cosic graduated from Boylan High School and Rockford University. Besides being a member of Phi Beta Kappa, she received numerous awards as an undergraduate: Sigma Xi, the Chemistry Award, and Calculus Awards, among others. At the University of Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine, she graduated in the top ten of her class and was one of three students honored with the Dean’s Scholarship. In 2018 and 2021, she won the Outstanding Dentist Award awarded by SIU. Dr. Cosic possesses exceptional surgical skills and is well-versed in many dental procedures, including orthodontics (Invisalign) and extractions.

Dr. Cosic’s compassion has motivated her to volunteer at the jail in Winnebago County, and she provides free comprehensive oral screenings, exams, restorative work, and extractions for veterans in Rockford every year. She looks forward to providing you with complete and comprehensive dentistry in a comfortable and compassionate environment. She practices safe mercury removal and embraces holistic, whole-body health through dentistry philosophy. Overall, she hopes to serve our community by improving smiles and overall well-being.
