In-Network Vs. Out of Network
Can I still receive care at your office if you are out of network?
Yes. Out of network does not mean you cannot receive care at our office. We work with and submit to ALL insurance carriers.
How can I find out what my out-of-network benefits are?
To find out what out of network means for you, call your insurance carrier and ask them to explain your out-of-network benefits to you.
Does my insurance company care about the dentistry I receive?
The answer is NO.
Our doctors are aware of patient concerns when it comes to being an out-of-network, unrestricted provider. They have carefully and thoughtfully considered becoming in-network providers and have chosen to remain out of network.
Why have your doctors chosen to remain out of network?
First and foremost is the personal care and customized dentistry you have come to expect and receive from our office. In-network providers must provide treatment dictated by the insurance company.
How does being out of network affect the quality of my dental restorations?
The restorations created here at our office are custom color-matched and are fabricated using precious metals and high-quality porcelain.
In-network dentists are forced to use cheaper, poor-quality materials such as nickel in their porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns. They routinely place toxic amalgam, silver/mercury fillings.
Where are the restorations and dental products used by your office made?
We invest in the community using local labs and labs across the United States who have proven to be experts in their field. Our long-time ceramist has personally invested in continuing education courses with our office so we can consistently deliver high-quality products.
In-network dentists must choose labs dictated by price. They may or may not be in the United States.
How does remaining out of network impact your team and patient care?
By remaining out of network, we are unrestricted and have been able to hire and retain exceptionally talented and educated staff. The average length of service among our team of 10 employees is 14 years.
In-network providers typically have overworked, underpaid, rushed employees who find it difficult to provide quality care. Their offices have a high turnover rate not only among staff but doctors as well.
What differences do you see in patients who come from in-network dental providers?
We have found that patients who come to us from big box store dental providers have received short-term repair dentistry. In-network can mean insurance dictates lower-quality treatment.
Our doctors will not compromise your care.
Who can help me understand my insurance benefits?
If you have questions, please call our office. Michelle or Cami would be happy to help you understand your benefits.
